Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and head to Amboseli National Park. The drive offers picturesque landscapes as you approach the park, with the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro visible on clear days.
After settling into your lodge and enjoying lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, famous for its large elephant herds. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
An early morning game drive provides the best opportunity to see wildlife as they begin their day, with the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro serving as a perfect photo backdrop. The rest of the day is spent on game drives, exploring the park’s swamps and open plains, where you can spot lions, giraffes, and various bird species.
A packed picnic lunch allows for a full day of exploration before returning to the lodge in the evening.
Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After a final morning game drive in Amboseli, you will drive to the beautiful Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake nestled in the Great Rift Valley.
The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, with a brief stop to admire the views from the escarpment. Upon arrival, you will check in and have the afternoon free to relax or take an optional boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can walk among wildlife.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Following breakfast, you will depart for the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive is an adventure in itself, with a stop for lunch en route.
You will arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the vast plains teeming with wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and an evening of rest.
Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara
Today is dedicated to a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara, exploring its riverine forestsand open savannahs in search of the Big Five and other plains game. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacle of millions of animals crossing the plains.
A packed lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild, making for an unforgettable experience
Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi and Departure
After a final breakfast and a last morning game drive, you will leave the Masai Mara and head back to Nairobi. The return journey is an opportunity to reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of the last few days.
You will be dropped off at the airport for your flight home, filled with memories of your grand Kenya safari.
