Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay.
The day is for resting and preparing for the grand safari ahead.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
The day begins with a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. The game drive is a spectacular opportunity to see elephants in their natural habitat.
Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli, with opportunities to see a variety of wildlife. You can visit the observation hill for a panoramic view of the park and its swamps, which attract hippos and waterfowl.
Lunch is at the lodge, with an afternoon game drive to explore the plains and find the elusive predators.
Day 4: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
After a morning game drive and breakfast, you will drive to Tsavo West National Park. The journey takes you through diverse landscapes, and you will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
The afternoon is dedicated to a game drive, where you can explore the Mzima Springs, a series of four natural springs that are home to hippos and crocodiles.
Day 5: Full Day in Tsavo West
Today is a full day of exploration in Tsavo West National Park. You can explore the volcanic
landscape, including the Shetani Lava Flow, a fascinating geological formation. Game drives will
take you through the park’s diverse ecosystems, where you may spot elephants, rhinos, lions,
and a variety of birds. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay
Day 6: Tsavo West to Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, you will leave Tsavo West and travel to Lake Naivasha. The long drive
offers a change of scenery, from the arid plains of Tsavo to the lush greenery of the Rift Valley.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a boat ride on the
lake or take a walking safari on Crescent Island.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Following breakfast, you will drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, the highlight of any
Kenya safari. The journey provides an opportunity to see more of the country’s rural landscapes.
Arrive at your camp for lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive, seeking out the
iconic wildlife.
Day 8: Full Day in Masai Mara
A full day is dedicated to game drives in the Masai Mara, giving you a chance to explore its vast
plains and riverine forests. You can visit the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles or take an
optional hot air balloon safari for a stunning aerial view of the reserve. A picnic lunch in the bush
is a highlight of the day
Day 9: Another Full Day in Masai Mara
Spend a second full day in the Masai Mara to ensure you have seen as much as possible. This
day can be used to revisit areas where you have seen a good concentration of animals or to
explore new areas. You can also visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture.
Day 10: Departure
After a final breakfast, you will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. The drive is a final
chance to take in the landscapes of Kenya. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo
Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, filled with incredible memories of your ten-day
