An ideal blend of popular and varied parks, allowing you to experience the best of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes. You’ll start with the elephant-rich Tarangire National Park, traverse the plains of the Serengeti, and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees, the park offers a unique and beautiful landscape.

You will enjoy an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River, a vital water source for wildlife, before settling in for the night.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is a long but rewarding drive with stunning views of the Great Rift Valley.

You will arrive in the Serengeti in time for a picnic lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the central Seronera area, known for its high concentration of big cats.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. You will embark on both a morning and an afternoon game drive, seeking out the park’s famous wildlife.

Your guide will lead you to the best spots for witnessing the Great Migration, spotting a pride of lions, or finding a solitary leopard in a tree. The day is spent immersed in the sights and sounds of the wild.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have an optional stop at the Olduvai Gorge, an important paleoanthropological site, before arriving at your lodge on the crater rim.
The evening is yours torelax and enjoy the magnificent views of the Ngorongoro highlands.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem provides an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals in a relatively small area, including the “Big Five.”

After lunch and ascending the crater, you will drive to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park.

Begin your day with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant populations, and a soda lake that attracts thousands of flamingos.

The diverse habitats, from the forest to the acacia woodlands, make for excellent bird-watching and game viewing. After your final game drive, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home.
