Itinerary

Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel in Kigali.
Immerse yourself in a comprehensive Kigali City Tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, and a local craft market

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey heading south to Nyungwe National Park through Rwanda’s picturesque landscapes, pausing to uncover the country’s fascinating royal history and rich cultural heritage.

En route, stop in Nyanza to visit the King’s Palace Museum, the traditional Rwandan king’s residence, and encounter the majestic Inyambo cattle, offering a captivating glimpse into ancient traditions.

After lunch, drive to Huye and visit the Ethnographic Museum, one of Africa’s finest ethnological collections, showcasing Rwandan history and culture before continuing your journey to Nyungwe National Park. Dinner and overnight near the park.

Early morning, embark on a chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Trek through the dense rainforest in search of these fascinating primates in their natural habitat, followed by a chance to connect with local traditions, truly enriching your understanding of Rwanda.

In the afternoon, have lunch before soaring above the emerald of Nyungwe, to experience the exhilarating Canopy walkway, suspended high above the ancient rainforest. Later, enjoy an adrenaline-pumping zipline ride through the lush canopy, offering unparalleled views and a unique sensation of flying over the rainforest.

After breakfast, drive from Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park via Kibuye in the deep rolling hills along the Kivu Belt road overlooking Lake Kivu.

Stop in Karongi for lunch, before indulging in an authentic Rwandan coffee experience, savoring the rich flavors of the land and proceeding to Musanze, home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Check-in at your lodge near the park.

Early morning, report to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for briefing before you experience; the unparalleled thrill of an up-close encounter with magnificent Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat, or observe the playful and endangered Golden Monkeys, marveling at their agility and striking golden fur, an experience perfect for photography.

After your trek, head back to the hotel for refreshment, and lunch before transferring back to Kigali to meet your evening departure flight.
