Bigogwe


A beautiful, rolling highland area in the north of Rwanda, near the town of Mukamira. Its name
means “the breast of Bigogwe” due to the gently sloping hills. The area is known for its lush
green pastures, home to the long-horned Inyambo cattle, and offers breathtaking views of the
surrounding volcanoes. It’s a perfect spot for nature walks and cultural experiences with localherdsmen
